Overview

We were commissioned to do the graphic design and promotion for Putting the World to Rights, a networking event series organised by For the Common Good, a collaborative network of architecture and property professionals.

The event is a 'World Cafe’-style symposium with a series of facilitated, 20-minute discussions with themes around the common good.

Additionally, it serves as a networking event where For the Common Good can connect with potential clients.

Problem

The client approached us to promote the event to a select list of invitees. They wanted something distinctive to really showcase what is a unique way for architects and property developers to network.

They also wanted to capture the event through illustrations and use this artwork to feed back to the attendees.

Solution

We created an illustrated event website and email newsletter template and used these in conjunction with a timeline to feed information to the attendees in stages.

An outline of the event, along with discussion themes and a description of the venue were sent out first. The full line up of speakers and attendees was sent out the day before the event.

Nichola Jones was commissioned to produce a series of illustrations ahead of the event. She was also present during the proceedings to produce live drawings.

Thank you to the Pinpoint team for creating a fabulous website, which is well worthy of an event that exceeded expectations. Particular thanks to Nicola for her amazing illustrations!
